KučerovThe first written record of the village dates back to 1235, when noblemen Vojslav, Drslav and Čáslav donated the patronage of the church in Kučerov to the monastery in Doubravnice. In its history, Kučerov was settled mainly by German people, similarly to the other villages of the region.
In the years 1945-46, most of the German inhabitants were displaced to Bavaria and Wuertenberg.
Among valuable monuments you can find St. Peter’s and Paul’s Church of 1698 - 1741 and the Baroque statue of St. Jan Nepomucký of the 18th century. From the secular monuments, we can mention the house at no. 12 with porch.
